Please help get justice for Mocha, a puppy Cailean Macleod brutally tortured and killed!
The Issue
PLEASE help get justice for Mocha, a dog that was repeatedly tortured and brutally murdered.
Mocha, a beautiful Australian shepherd mix, was brutally tortured and killed in January 2019. The man accused of killing her, 20-year-old Cailean Torquil Macdona MacLeod, of Layton, Utah, allegedly stated that he enjoyed killing his dog, and admitted that he fantasized about killing people. He tortured Mocha endlessly and mercilessly. His girlfriend, Alana Burch, never did a thing about it. Before her death he beat her on many other occasions. The beatings were so bad that Mocha had to have her leg amputated. He cut her and cut her tongue out. He punched her and he kicked her. He suffocated her and laughed. Mocha suffered excruciating pain and no one saved her. No one ended her pain or protected her from this monster. She never knew love or warmth or protection or the feeling of safety. She was terrified of him her entire life. Animal abuse like this has to stop.
Please join us in asking officials in Layton to push for the strongest possible sentence for the man who took Mocha's life. Ask District Attorney Sim Gill and Andrew K. Deesing to help!!!!!! No one protected Mocha. Please stand up for our innocent best friends.
