As I've noted elsewhere, here in Canada, we lack specialist care for Tethered Spinal Cord Syndrome, as well as its common co-conditions, Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, POTS/dysautonomia, Chronic Fatigue/ME, etc.

What do these conditions have in common? They are often caused by underlying conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and other genetic and connective tissue disorders.

We have to do better. Hire more EDS specialists (including NEUROSURGEONS) and/or provide financial support for Canadian patients to access care in the US.
