Outline Planning Application Expected on or around 31st July!

Hi Campaigners,

Thank you for all your support and for reading our updates.  We've been a bit quiet on here but we have now been told to expect the Harrow Estates Outline Planning Application on or around 31st July!

Action
All of us who care about this land remaining the beautiful landscape on the western edge of Alton, that we use for walking and getting close to nature for all the benefits that this brings, should take the time to write comments to East Hampshire District Council when the application is posted on their Planning Portal. We will share this on here.

The Campaign speaks for everyone who doesn't want 1100 houses on the edge of Alton plus the attendant traffic chaos and impact on schools and surgeries. As the Leader of EHDC said in 2023, 'it is the wrong size, the wrong location, the wrong infrastructure' - nothing has changed!!
