Hope you're having a good weekend.

Final decision has been made. 

We will be presenting our Petition at the Council meeting on 28th September via a Public Address.  This is because the EHDC Petitions Scheme was removed from the Constitution in 2015 so the only way to present our Petition is at a Council meeting.

By the way, one can still present a petition in person to Hampshire County Council and Downing Street!

This petition now represents 27% of Altonians!  Ref the 2021 Census of 19,425 living in Alton. Thanks for all the sharing and promoting you've done so far!  Wouldn't it be nice to get to 5500 for even more impact!

We are hoping for it to be light enough for a photo at 6pm - it should be.  So do come and be in it!  We will have some placards.
