Article in The Times today!
Regency costumes for protest!
Silvie's cafe on The Butts to stay open for protest!

Hi Everyone,

Wow, there’s been a lot going on since our last update!

Firstly we are at 2283 signatures! A wonderful achievement and thank you to everyone involved in getting us there.

Let's reach 2500 as this triggers another email from the petition from change.org to Councillor Angela  Glass.  So please share if you haven't already and encourage others to sign if you can.

Reminder:  The public protest is on Saturday 18th September at 3pm at The Butts, Alton.

Do please come along, listen to the few short speeches, and be part of making a public show of support for all the work going on behind the scenes by Alton Town Council and our local councillors at EHDC as well as all the letters of objection written to Cllr Angela Glass and Damian Hinds MP.

Alton Town Council has obtained a barrister's opinion which has been sent to EHDC.  This is strongly supportive of the case against Chawton Park Farm.

The Times article
Yes you did read that right!  It was on page 23 today. And thank you to the people who made this possible.

The link to the article is embedded in this update. It looks like it's the wrong article but it does take you to the right one!

Regency costumes at the protest!
This brilliant eye-catching idea informed the article, will grab attention and look good on a BBC South news bulletin.
If you have access to any regency costume do come along and show it off!

Silvie's Cafe on The Butts will stay open for the protest!
Silvie has kindly confirmed she will stay open longer for our protest and will 'stock up' so do pay her a visit!

Looking forward to seeing you on 18th!
