The Consultant hired by the Town of Ossining determined that one of the noises we are being exposed from the area in and around the Harmon Yard is INFRASOUND             

It sounds like a low HUMMMMMMMM

INFRASOUND IS HARMFUL,  even if you cant hear it. It penetrates walls and windows, travels great distances and does not diminish.

Many residents are suffering from disturbed sleep, headaches, ringing in their ears, heart rhythm changes, concentration issues, stress, mood changes - all known symptoms of exposure to INFRASOUND.

Our officials have been trying for over 2 years to engage Metro North and their noise consultant the MTA to address this serious Noise Health Crisis  - without success.  They need our help. 

           WE NEED TO GET LOUD   -  TO GET THE YARD SILENCED

Let them know they have your support to do what ever is necessary to get these noises coming from the area in and around this multi- billion dollar, state of the art facility.  stopped NOW

If you know anyone who works for Metro North, the MTA, their board members Let them know... we know the yard can be silenced and the trains still run safely and on time.  Ask what changes have to be made for this to be permanent - NOW - and post what they say. 

ALSO : Alert your facebook friends, TikTok, Instagram, Tweet - post the noise coming from this area to everyone you can think of so that they can hear what we are being bombarded with - at times 24/7.  Write letters to the editors of the local papers.
