Cheree TokaSydney, Australia

14 July 2019
Yesterday we walked the streets of Sydney CBD in red, black and yellow to wrap up the end of NAIDOC Week.
The demonstration was planned to mark the significant community support and to remind a select few that our flag isn't meaningless, it's part of our identity and culture.
Petitions with 10,000 or more signatures are set down for a discussion in the House of representatives in NSW Parliament, and we have 3,000 to go!
"Always Was, Always Will Be, Aboriginal Land".
A reminder as to why we are still fighting! NSW Premier won’t budge on bridge flags: https://lnkd.in/gQX73ii
