Hi there This years focus “Don’t Keep History A Mystery: Learn. Share. Grow” explores history hidden just beneath the surface, ready and waiting to be uncovered. We have been super busy organising a walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to shed light and strive for a better representation of our community. The walk will take place on Saturday 2nd June at 11:00 am. We encourage everyone to wear a red, black or yellow piece of clothing to acknowledge and celebrate our ancient and authentic Aboriginal flag. You will be given a small Aboriginal hand flag as we welcome you to the event and the opportunity to sign the campaign. 1. 10:45am we will gather out the front of the Opera House. 2. An invited Aboriginal Elder will commence the event with a Welcome to Country. 3. I will present you with a few words. 4. 11:15 am the walk across the bridge will begin. 5. Finish at Milsons Point where we will have a copy of the petition if you missed out on signing at the commencement of the event.
