Petition updateFly the Aboriginal Flag 365 days a year on the Sydney Harbour BridgeWe will be heard!

I’m writing this as I’ve just climbed down from the top of the bridge where the flags fly and my hands are shaking!
I overcame a fear of heights and climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I was scared but it was something I had to do to for my indigenous community and for all those who have signed, shared and supported this petition.
It was heartbreaking to get to the top and see that my indigenous community isn’t recognised on one of Australia’s most iconic and most-visited landmarks.
The Aboriginal Flag will go up on Australia Day but will be taken down to gather dust for most of the year. I want Gladys Berejiklian to meet me and look me in the eye and tell me why my Aboriginal culture is worth less than anyone else's, why she's white-washing history and ignoring over 64,000 supporters of this petition.
We will be heard - call Gladys Berejiklian on (02) 9439 4199 and ask her to meet with me to discuss indigenous recognition atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
P.S. A huge thank you to the generous contributors who funded my climb today and made this possible.
