Hi everyone. No response from the NSW Aboriginal Affairs Minister. Fobbed off by the Roads and Transport Minister. It's clearly time to get our Premier to act on this. It's not good enough that our nation's most prominent icon, the Harbour Bridge, only recognises indigenous people like me for a paltry 15 days a year. What I really want is a meeting with Gladys Berejiklian. I want her to look me in the eye and tell me why she thinks it's acceptable to whitewash Aboriginal history for all but two weeks of the year, and why she isn't listening to over 40,000 signers who want the flag to stay up after it gets raised on Australia Day.
