On 27 Jan, 17 I attended the Yabun Festival, an annual celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures held on the traditional lands of the Gadigal people in Sydney, Australia. With the support of the Amnesty Redfern action group we obtained in total 350 paper based signatories on the day to present to NSW Parliament, which is a massive achievement. I will be attending many of their indigenous events in the near future to further promote the petition and reach my target of 10,000 supporters.
