The ongoing conflict in Gaza has inflicted unimaginable suffering on its most vulnerable population - the children.

They face daily threats to their lives from bombings and missile attacks, and are increasingly deprived of essential needs such as safe shelter, clean water, food, and medical care. These children, innocent and blameless, find themselves in a world overshadowed by fear and uncertainty.

Over half of the population in Gaza are under 18 years old. Many have been severely injured or have lost family members and friends. Schools have been destroyed or repurposed for emergency shelters, hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties, and the psychological impact on the children is profound and long-lasting.

We, regular people, know that it is worthless to ask our leaders to intervene: they are either supportive of the horror, numb to suffering, or powerless to do anything against something so evil that can only arise from powers beyond our comprehension.

As such, instead of sending them this petition, we send it to YOU, our Father in Heaven, to take matters into Your hands.

Only YOU have the knowledge, the power, and the mercy to take effective action. We ask you for the protection and healing of the children in Gaza, that they may grow up in an environment free from violence and full of opportunities for a promising future.

And, as Your Son recommended, we thank you beforehand for having already listened to us and taking matters into your hands as we speak.
