Dear Supporters,
First, I want to sincerely thank each of you for standing with me and signing the online petition on Change.org. Your support has meant so much to me and gave strength to my voice when I needed it most.
Now, I’m turning to you once again for your help — and your voice.
A Parliamentary Petition, officially sponsored by Honourable Judy Sgro, Member of Parliament, has now been launched. This petition will trigger real action from the Canadian government, as Parliament is legally required to review and respond once the petition is tabled.
This is our chance to push for real policy reform — to ensure that Canadians abroad, whether traveling, studying, or working, receive the protection and assistance they deserve when facing crises or human rights violations.

You can also share the link with your friends, family, and colleagues so we can reach the required 500 signatures before the December 10 deadline.
Your continued support means the world to me. By signing this Parliamentary Petition, you’re standing not only with me, but with all Canadians who might one day find themselves in need of protection abroad. Together, we can help make sure no Canadian is ever left alone in crisis again.
With deep gratitude,
Ghazwan Abdel Jeleel
