With deep respect and urgency, I am asking for your support. Please sign the Parliamentary Petition — a call for justice, real change, and for the government to take meaningful action. This petition seeks consular policy reform so no Canadian abroad is ever left without protection, dignity, or hope in a time of crisis. Your voice can help turn suffering into change.
I am reaching out with sincerity and hope, asking for your voice. Your support means more than words can express. Together, we can ensure that no Canadian is ever left unhelped or unprotected — the way I was left.
The moment that changed My life.
I am a Canadian who survived 10 months of unlawful detention in the UAE (Al-Sadr State Security Prison, June 2024–April 2025). I was accused of “cursing the police,” yet I faced no formal charge, no court, no conviction, and no due process. I was denied insulin, PTSD medication, a CPAP machine, and even basic BP/glucose checks. Canadian officials documented my deterioration but deferred my life-saving care to the very prison authorities who were depriving it.
Your voice and my voice together can make change. I’ve filed a Parliamentary Petition (e-6727) for justice and consular policy reform so no Canadian is left unprotected in a crisis abroad. I have records to prove what happened—emails, consular reports, and Canadian medical documentation. I’m still dealing with health complications today.
This is a matter of public interest, not just my personal ordeal.
