Last year, we reached out to you and thousands of Canadians to speak up and support the first step of our Ban With a Plan program to push for a ban on the use of neonicotinoids – harmful pesticides that continue to be a significant threat to the delicate populations of pollinators and other species. The result? More than 100,000 Canadians made their voices heard! In late November 2018, the federal government announced that certain neonicotinoid pesticides would be phased out over the next three to five years.
