After 14 long years behind bars on a 30+ year sentence, Billy D. Williams will finally stand before the San Joaquin County Court on Monday, December 1st, for a resentencing hearing that could change the course of his life forever.

His children, his family, and an entire community who loves him have been praying—truly praying—that this is the moment Billy finally comes home.

Billy has worked tirelessly to transform himself during his incarceration, and even Deputy District Attorney Nicole Devencenzi, who is the D.A. on the case has shown compassion, integrity with the law, and fairness. She has openly expressed to the family that she believes Billy deserves to be home with his loved ones. With that support, the family and community are praying everything can be handled immediately and remain deeply hopeful the District Attorney’s Office will not oppose Billy’s resentencing on Monday, December 1, 2025.
