On June 11th, Brown changed his plea from "not guilty" to "no contest." What this means is that, although he is not admitting guilt, Brown is admitting to the truth of the facts in the indictment and will not be disputing the charges against him. Essentially, this allows Brown to avoid a trial and go straight to sentencing. Brown's sentencing is scheduled for October 1st, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
