Support Justice in 2016

You can read his message here: http://etan.org/etan/2016chomsky_appeal.htm Or you can donate by going to this page: http://etan.org/donate.htm In the coming year, we plan to intensify our pursuit of justice for the many victims of Indonesia's security forces from coup that began 50 years ago 1965's coup that brought the dictator Suharto to power, through the illegal invasion and occupation of Timor-Leste, to ongoing human rights violations in West Papua. We will also keep up the pressure on the U.S. government to acknowledge its role in arming and training the perpetrators of these crimes. We also plan to reinvigorate our efforts to support the government and people of Timor-Leste campaign to establish maritime boundaries with its neighbors. Legally-recognized boundaries would end Australia's theft of Timor's resources and bring to a close the independence struggle that begun more than 40 years ago. As Xanana Gusmao, Timor-Leste's former President and Prime Minister, recently said "We are fighting for justice in the Timor Sea so that we can finish the work of our struggle for independence and achieve our rightful sovereignty under international law."
