Update from Wakili Timami
I attended court this morning. A lot of things are not happening as expected. Neither Carol nor her mother were produced to court today as was supposed to be the case. Apparently, our applications were certified as urgent and slated for hearing today but the prison wasn't issued with the production order, prayer number 2 after the one seeking certification of urgency in both applications. Their cases couldn't proceed in their absence despite our humble request for such a consideration. Both courts issued production orders for tomorrow. I will spend the night in Nyeri.
In other news, someone at the land registry decided to put an inexplicable caution on the title deed meant to be used in case we're allowed to post bond. Something is not adding up. Clearly, there's interference from someone or some people in this matter. I have ascertained that indeed the probable cause for all this is riding motorcycles and that indeed, no drugs or illegal substances were involved or found at all material times. This is clearly a witch-hunt and with Nyeri being a rural area, interference with the rule of law seems like normal business.
LadyBiker Carol Ian needs us now more than ever. I visited her at the Nyeri GK Prison (King'ong'o) where she's been held for 8 nights alongside her mother. Let's unite and get them out. I am not confident about their prolonged period behind bars in view of the evidence and circumstances surrounding this case. Their only weakness is the fact that they are destitute. A drug dealer would easily afford to pay cash bail and resume business pending hearing and determination of their case. Carol is just a passionate biker and that should not be used against her.
Kindly contribute towards this initiative to help us raise funds to set them free. The MPESA Buy Goods Till Number is:

We won't get this done without your support. Let us prove that the biker community cannot be overwhelmed by a few individuals. Let's do this together as a community. It might help bring out our strength in numbers. Thank you and God bless you.
