Patapon was a game released in 2007 on Sony's Playstation Portable. It is one of the PSP's most memorable games, with it's two sequels. Sadly, no Patapon game made it's way to the Playstation Vita, and a lot of players thought the licence was dead.
But at the E3 2017, Patapon Remastered was announced, exclusively for the Playstation 4.

In an interview for Playstation Blog ("The complete story behind rhythm-action classic Patapon, as told by the game’s creators"), one of Patapon's creator, Hiroyuki Kotani, said that they started working on a PS Vita Patapon, before dropping it:

"PS Blog: How has your impression of the game changed with the PS4 remaster?
Kotani: We did testing on the PlayStation Vita, and despite the small size of the characters, they looked pretty sharp. The games live and die by the simple silhouettes of Rolito’s designs, the characters’ crispness only served to increase their charm."

We all know that the PS Vita is not a commercial success, but it still has a huge community of fans, as you can see here and there. Some big publishers like Atlus are still releasing games for the Vita : two Persona spin-offs were just announced !

So, Playstation, why not releasing Patapon Remastered on PS Vita ? You will see that this awesome handheld is far from dead !
