On a day when the temperature reached 88°, Abby was forced to wear clothing that only increased her risk of overheating. Despite the extreme heat, she was made to walk long distances on severely overgrown and neglected nails — nails so unkempt they clearly caused her pain with every step.
What makes this even more disturbing is that Shea was repeatedly vocalizing how hot she was herself and even complained that she felt like she was going to pass out. Yet, instead of recognizing the danger and showing compassion, she continued to force Abby to walk in clothing and with painfully long nails. The hypocrisy is clear — if Shea could not tolerate the heat, how could she expect her dog to endure even worse conditions?
Shea, Abby’s owner, no longer has a vehicle after losing it due to reckless personal choices. Rather than providing Abby with proper walks and care, she only drags her along when running errands. Abby is rarely taken outside simply for the exercise, attention, and love every dog needs — only as a burden to carry along when it’s convenient.
