The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO) has officially released a statement regarding Monday’s raid. This confirms what we’ve all been waiting for: the animals are safe, and the investigation is active and ongoing.
You can read the full HCPO statement here: https://www.facebook.com/HunterdonCountyProsecutor/
If you have ANY information regarding Lost Paws Rescue or the situation involving Geralyn, please contact the HCPO immediately. Your information could be critical in helping this investigation move forward.
While this rescue was a huge victory, the work isn’t over. The organizations who stepped up to care for 40 cats and 7 dogs are now facing enormous expenses for medical care, food, and shelter. Many of these animals need urgent treatment—and the rescues can’t do it alone.
Here are some of the rescues requesting help right now:

If you can, please donate or share these links. Every single dollar matters—vet bills and supplies are adding up quickly, and these animals deserve the care they’ve been denied for so long.
Your voice helped make this rescue possible. Now, let’s make sure every one of these cats and dogs gets the treatment, love, and safety they need.
Thank you for continuing to fight for them—and for speaking up when it matters most.
I also want to take the time to mention that although many animals that were in Geralyn's care are now in the care of other rescues, there is still a large portion of animals from Lost Paws that continue to be with loving fosters. These animals still need homes and are innocent in all this. Please consider adopting and/or fostering.
