UPDATE!
Our project team met with the Parks Department and Mayor’s office last Friday (10/18/24), and received their support in moving forward with the project! Our next steps will be for the Mayor’s office to explore available grant opportunities to assist in funding this project, along with weighing out options for potential locations. (There’s a handful in mind) Grant writing and approval can take some time, so in the meantime we are going to do what we can to provide updates, share information and engage with the community regarding the project.
We’re beyond thankful for the Bedford Parks Department and folks from the Mayor’s office for their time and collaboration with us to help make this a reality. We’re feeling optimistic and look forward to sharing more updates soon. Stay tuned and get stoked, Bedford!
