Thank You for Standing With the Cerebral Palsy Community —The Work Continues

To our incredible cerebral palsy community,

Thank you. Over 2,600 of you and counting, have signed our petition calling for increased federal investment in cerebral palsy research — and your support is making a difference. Every signature, every share, and every conversation sparked by your support  helps shine a spotlight on the urgent need to prioritize CP research at the national level.

Right now, federal agency structures are evolving and the path forward for research funding remains complex — this time of evolution and change underscores why our collective voice matters so much, and why we are so involved in creating positive change. Cerebral Palsy has been historically underfunded at the federal level to a significant degree. The reasons for this are many, and we are working closely with policy makers to remove long standing barriers and elevating the public health priority of cerebral palsy to the level it deserves as the most common lifelong motor impairment in the world.

At the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, we remain unwavering in our commitment to advancing research for the entire CP community.  Our petition supporting cerebral palsy research investment across the lifespan is just one part of a larger movement, and thanks to you, this movement is growing stronger every day.
