Less than 1%

As we approach 1,500 supporters our collective voice only gets louder. All of you made this happen, thank you for the support. 

On January 10th, in the Capital Gazette, County Executive Pittman said “of the 1,752 county residents that sent testimony, 75% supported the extension of our mask mandate”. Only 1,482 resident voted on the mask mandate!

Total votes for both bills….1,752

Let’s just say 1,752 residents voted yes to the mask mandates. There’s roughly 579,000 residents in Anne Arundel County. Even with the inflated numbers that means less than 1% of Anne Arundel County residents got a vote. 

Manipulation through interpretation seems to be not only a tactic of choice, but a characteristic of Mr. Pittman.
