Activist Meng Han facing life in jail for supporting shoe workers

I'm contacting you with an update following the petition you signed, asking shoe brands to call for the release of Chinese labour rights activists. In September 2016, the hearings took place for three Chinese activists including Zeng Feiyang. They were given suspended prison sentences for "disturbing social order", just for educating workers about their rights at the Lide Shoe Factory. Since their arrests in December 2015, they had spent long periods in detention, often denied meetings with their lawyers. Meng Han, the remaining activist in detention, has his hearing set for this week, 3 and 4 November. Can you help Meng Han and ask the brands sourcing from the factory to call for his release?
