Shoalhaven council among many other councils in NSW is releasing Pindone to control wild rabbit populations. This method deprives rabbits of essential nutrients with a cascading effect of internal haemorrhaging and eventual failure of organs. It takes 10-14 days for a rabbit to be killed. Tell the council that this is an inhumane method of torture and will affect not only rabbits but many more wildlife. There is no need for this amount of lengthy drawn out torture.
