Shire Council sends out paperwork with RED TAPE

I received in the mail yesterday 8/8/2016 the notice of intention to declare a special rate to establish a Marketing and Business Development Fund for Echuca Commercial and Industrial Area. Here is a little of the information. The manner in which the Special Rate is intended to be assessed and levied is: • In the first year of the Special Rate, a rate of 0.00067517553 applied to the CIV of each of the Properties required to pay the Special Rate, subject to a minimum charge of $350 and a maximum charge of $10,000, so as to raise $520,000.
