Dear All,

Thank you for your gathered support of over 500 people for this petition: to protect the safety of our teachers, parents, and students. Yesterday, I sent an email to Dr. Kevin Skelly, the superintendent of the SMUHSD district. Here is his response.

"We are following the advice of the County Health department, the scientists on this topic.  If you don't feel comfortable being at school, please let me know and we will work on finding an alternative for your learning."

To students and parents: If you don't feel comfortable being at school, you can individually let him know. But, we need to protect the safety of our teachers: there have been many comments of students going to school sick to keep their grades up.
