Children in Shetland are being failed by the Islands services. Unable to house, rehome and offer suitable and adequate accommodation to families in need. You only have to view statistics of children being subject to overcrowding and cramped conditions via social housing providers. It's about time larger accommodation was provided for those in need. This would free up the smaller properties that these services are focused on building. The structure of families on the island is changing and it's about time authorities changed with the times too.
