With the recent announcement by Tesco, that they will no longer allow islanders access to Tesco Direct, and their withdrawal of some electronics. Surely it is time for all islanders to have more choice of retail outlets. At the moment we have Tesco, Co-Op, and of course our own local retailers which must still be supported. There are unfortunately a number of people that can’t afford these services and would welcome a more affordable way to shop. Is it not time that we had the chance to have stores the likes of Aldi, Asda, Farmfoods or Lidl on the island. Please do what you can.
