Dear Supporters. Its been a busy few weeks! After having to chase Streets Ahead for Ecological Surveys on the Thornsett Road trees, they finally turned up to take a survey with a group of men and a chipper in tow. Our emergency phone tree worked a treat and a small group of us were able to see them off. But they will be back. Meanwhile, the Save NE Trees campaigners have been out collecting signatures and we can confirm that in total we now have over 1500 signatures and counting! Please help us reach our 5000 target by sharing this petition with family and friends. The city wide tree campaign continues to grow and we have been meeting with campaign leaders from other areas (Greenhill, SORT, Crookes and more) and a federation has been set up under the name Sheffield Tree Action Groups (STAG).
