At last nights Tree Advisory Forum, at Sheffield City Council, The presentation given by Alan from Save Our Roadside Trees, (SORT) couldn't have been better. It perfectly summed up alternative solutions to felling on mass, in a proactive way - backed by credible sources. Save Our Roadside Trees, demonstrated there are solutions, there is another way, there is no need to fell in such large numbers. Whether the panel members of SCC and Amey were listening is another matter. Sharing this petition and sustained media pressure together with peaceful direct action remains our way forward. Let's hope the presence of the media last night will help ramp up the pressure. Thank you for your continued support!
