Rachel Chan has been vocal in discriminating against a group of people. Her allegations that Swedish metal groups like Watain promote violence among youths are unfounded and lack clear logical reasoning.

Unfortunately, she has succeeded in spreading her false and ill researched claim throughout the religious sector. This propagation of fake news preys on conservative and religious beliefs. It is not unthinkable that this particular individual would start petitions on a number of other sensitive issues such as race and religion and undermine the racial harmony in Singapore.
