For years, John McLaren Park has been neglected and overlooked by city officials and city departments. Although it is the second largest park in San Francisco (after Golden Gate Park), it gets only a fraction of the services and upgrades that other parks receive.

McLaren Park needs:

• More gardeners
• More garbage cans throughout the park and more frequent garbage pick up
• General maintenance for trees, walkways, trails, picnic areas, and other park facilities.
• Stop signs, crosswalks, and speed bumps on Shelley Drive
