It appears as though the Chief's recent decision to shut off the fire horn during sleeping hours is an acceptable compromise to many of the signers of this petition. To the many of you that this compromise did not help, I apologize. It does not seem feasible for us to push the issue any further at this time. For that reason, I will close the petition at the end of the week. If anyone wants any information from this page please gather it before then. I will keep a list of the signatures in case we need it in the future. I have also attached a link to TribLive's article on the issue from a few weeks ago.
