SUBJECT (COPY/PASTE) Yolo County Explosion — accountability + charging timeline

EMAIL (COPY/PASTE)

Hello, I’m writing about the Yolo County Explosion (July 1) that killed seven workers, all people of color and all from out of town. Seven families are living with permanent loss, and multiple children are now growing up without their fathers and loved ones. It has been publicly confirmed that Yolo County Sheriff’s Office employees were directly connected to the property/operations, and that an Esparto Fire District volunteer firefighter was directly involved. This requires full transparency and accountability, for officials involved and all other individuals/entities involved, based on evidence.

I am requesting:

- A clear charging timeline: specific dates or a defined decision window from the District Attorney.
- Full transparency: who had oversight/authority, who knew what and when, and what actions were taken or not taken.
- Accountability: for officials involved and for all other individuals/entities involved, based on evidence.
- Families first: families informed directly before major public/media updates. Seven people died at work. The community expects transparency, accountability, and prevention.

Sincerely, [Your Name] [City, State]
