Establish a Tuition Cap at Seton Hall University

Establish a Tuition Cap at Seton Hall University
The Issue
Annual tuition increases have become an unfair burden on students. Last year, our tuition increased by 3.9%, a number that is unusually high in relation to our peer schools. The budget committee has no effective student representation and school spending breakdowns are unclear, meaning that we do not know where our money is going, nor are we able to give our consent. We are proposing a tuition increase cap of no more than 2.5% annually and a more transparent view of expenses.
We urge all Seton Hall students and alumni to sign this petition. We also invite all to share their own financial aid stories and debt since it's a problem that affects all of us.
