Thank you so much to all who have signed the petition so far! I'm sharing updates with our senators and representatives, as well as Pan-O-Gold themselves. If we make enough noise, we may just get them to listen. For additional support, here are a few things you can do right now:
1. Do not support Pan-O-Gold (Village Hearth, Country Hearth, Lakeland, Frescados, etc). Let your dollar be your vote and spend your money on other products.
2. Consider emailing the quality assurance manager at Pan-O-Gold, Bob Huebner at bhuebner@panogold.com to let him know your thoughts on this. Remember that we are more likely to help him understand the devastating impact on people in the food allergy community by being thoughtful and polite in our responses. Let him know you will not be purchasing their products until they can demonstrate that they care about their consumers. Suggestions might be to omit sesame from all products or to limit the use of sesame to one of their three bakeries.
3. Keep sharing and making noise! For those in the midwest, contact your state senators and local representatives to let them know how this company is circumventing the intention of the new legislation.
