We are pleased that our requests for information on when the Board of Inquiry into historical child sexual abuse in Beaumaris Primary School and certain other government schools report will be tabled in Victorian Parliament, have been acted upon. Although it is rather last minute, given it is being tabled tomorrow morning.
"On 26 February 2024, the Chair, Kathleen Foley SC, submitted the Board of Inquiry report to the Governor of Victoria. The Victorian Government then had 30 days to consider if it would table the report in the Parliament of Victoria.
The Victorian Government has recently informed the Board of Inquiry that it will table the report in the Parliament of Victoria on Wednesday 6 March 2024 from 9.40am. This means that the clerk will read out the report title and the report will subsequently be publicly released.
This is an administrative process only, however, if you wish to attend you can find details about accessing Parliament House at https://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/
Once the report is tabled, you will also be able to access it online on the Board of Inquiry’s website at https://www.beaumarisinquiry.vic.gov.au/
or the Parliament of Victoria’s tabled documents database, which you can access by clicking this link."

Notice papers have yet to be made available of the agenda for tomorrow's sitting day, that lists the bills and motions (proposals) to be debated, and when. We will post the relevant information on our Facebook page, when this becomes available. We will also let you know if and when the Premier is holding a media conference about it too.
