The promised meeting with the senior advisor to Hon Colin Brooks MP, then Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers, and Minister for Child Protection and Family Services, never eventuated. Despite being assured in September it would. None of our numerous follow up communications received a response.

Last week ministerial positions were confirmed, and the following are the decision makers we will resume seeking a meeting with, on behalf of our ~13,000 petitioners.

• The Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Health, and Minister for Health Infrastructure.
• The Hon. Gabrielle Williams, Minister for Mental Health.
• The Hon. Enver Erdogan, Minister for Youth Justice and Minister for Victim Support.
• Mr Tim Richardson, Parliamentary Secretary for Health Infrastructure, Parliamentary Secretary for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

Whilst responses from the Victorian government remain sparse and disappointing, our support from numerous relevant stakeholder groups, organisations and individuals continues to be both meaningful and significant. 

We are heard. We are not alone. We will continue to work with other organisations and advocates to achieve the outcomes our petition seeks.
