Our formal request for a meeting with The Hon Martin Foley MP, Minister for Health, also ended up with the Mental Health Complaints Commissioner (MHCC) Office. The MHCC's role is to support those speaking up on behalf of themselves and others, ensuring improvements to the public mental health service in Victoria.

We welcome any support and assistance from the MHCC office, in our discussion with the Minister for Health of what a meaningful, restorative investment in the lives of survivors, families, partners and the communities impacted, can look like. Including funding the facilitation of the co-design of responses, with those impacted.

As we're yet to receive a response from the Minister for Health's office, you can continue to help us secure our meeting with Minister Foley by:

Phoning The Minister for Health's office on 03 9096 7500, between 9AM - 5PM AEST, Monday - Friday.

" My name is ______________
I recently signed the Change.Org petition seeking services and supports for survivors and communities impacted by institutional child sexual abuse, in Beaumaris and surrounding communities, in the 1970s - 1980's.
I'm urging the Minister for Health meet with the petition organiser and supporters to discuss these urgent service needs, as soon as possible.

Thank you."
