Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser: Tell Sister City Seoul, South Korea, you oppose the torture and consumption of dogs and cats.

Seoul became a Sister City to Washington, DC, in 2006. In Seoul, there are numerous dog farms, slaughterhouses, markets, and restaurants where the dogs, who have been tortured their entire lives, end up being slaughtered in the most inhumane ways, such as by electrocution, hanging, or beating, and then thrown into boiling water – sometimes while they are still alive. 

We cannot stand by while Seoul continues to deceive us and inflict unimaginable cruelty on animals who consider humans guardians and companions. So we are now asking the Washington, DC, government to urge Seoul to stop their city's dog and cat meat industry – an illegal, brutal, and diabolical industry.
