An activist reported a dog farm/slaughterhouse located in Gwanaksan Mountain behind Seoul National University to the local authority for the illegal building and operation of business (killing dogs for consumption is not currently being punished in Korea due to the legal blind spot). The dog farm/ slaughterhouse was ordered to remove voluntarily by August 8 by the District Office. There are these “Hell on Earth” dog slaughterhouses scattered all around South Korea. We must speak out for these dogs living in horrific nightmare just to be killed in most torturous ways. The most powerful tool for changing the behavior of countries and companies alike is the imposition of economic sanctions. Write to these South Korean exporters and urge them to take immediate action against dog meat consumption in their country.
