Australia Wants FTTH/FTTP

Australia Wants FTTH/FTTP
The issue
The current Australian Government, is outdated and have their head stuck so far up their asses they can't see the future.
Australia wants FIBRE TO THE HOME.
Australians are sick of third world internet when third world countries are toppling Australia's internet speed/rankings year on year.
New Zealand trialed FTTN it failed they are now upgrading to FTTP
UK have trialed FTTN it failed they are now upgrading to FTTH or FTTdp (Which should have been implemented instead of FTTN in Australia)
Every country that has fibre vs copper is replacing outdated copper with fibre, why can't australia follow suit?
My fellow Australians as our goverment voted into power cannot understand the needs of the people they "represent" it is up to us to make a stand and foresee our future.
Myself is willing to cop a tax increase to cover costs for a full FTTH solution over FTTN as the benefits and future prospects of this INFRASTRUCTURE better yet UTILITY.
Broadband is a necessity in today's lifestyle whether it's studying, working or socially we all need and breathe fast data!
With all of today's content available digitally on the internet, our Government expects us to do it on a speed of dial up (FTTN) compared to ADSL2 (FTTH)
PROS for FTTH
- Speeds of up to 1gbps or faster
- Telstra cannot stuff up your phone line trying to fix another persons line due to copper degradation
- Easy to upgrade - matter of upgrading equipment either end of the line where as copper you have to replace it with fibre
CONS for FTTN
- Still runs on X lineal metres of copper from existing pillar to home
- Street cabinets run on batteries not dedicated power + battery back up
- Street cabinets and still be X metres away from existing pillar which connection is copper not fibre
- Copper degrades and data transmission also degrades over length
