Due to a recent case spanning several southeastern states, light has been shed on professionals and/or students in positions relating to animal care that may be guilty of animal cruelty.  This petition will be sent to Florida Senator Marco Rubio to ask for a state, then national, law that creates a registry for those convicted of animal cruelty in a court of law. 

Individuals pursuing a license to give care to animals (veterinarians, vet techs, breeders, groomers, etc) would not be approved for licenses until they clear the animal cruelty registry.
