We need a consistently strong, vocal, and effective opposition in Congress. Chuck Schumer is aloof and out of touch and has no pulpit! We need a leader who is out there everyday, communicating with us and putting the majority's feet to the fire. We need a fighter, like Corey Booker, who has executive leadership and a deep connection to those who will be negatively impacted by Trump and Congressional Republicans. Schumer's direct community will not suffer under Trump. In fact, many of them will do just fine. We are in a state of emergency and do not have he luxury of time, so, this needs to happen immediately. Let's get this done.
