Thanks to all who have supported this important petition to allow for the enjoyment of a long-standing tradition, especially during a pandemic, when other places were not as easily available.

I always felt that 2020 was just a preview for what was to come, and sadly, it appears that is indeed the case at least as far as Covid goes. Regardless of how one views Covid and the politics surrounding it; it is clear that it has and will impact activities and our normal way of life regardless.

With the above said, it's HOT and we have less opportunities once again thanks to Covid. Yet, the swimming area at an safe outdoor park (Lake Mills) remains closed to us Citizens.

Don't let Seminole County get away with lying about the reasons nor them take away your right to enjoy the same lake many previous generations did and future ones could be enjoying as I type while our options for activities will continue to dwindle due to Covid.
