230 people have signed this petition to bring back the long-standing tradition of swimming at Lake Mills Park as well as the beach area.

It was in the upper 80's here today, and I can only imagine the coming Months the typical Florida heat.

The County needs to act. They've now ignored me for over a week and all but one County Commissioner will communicate with me. So, any reasonable person would realize that thus OUR elected Officials couldn't care less about a constituent's attempts to communicate.

Perhaps the 230 that have signed so far will change that, and based on the rapid signatures already, this petition is going to go much bigger! Perhaps they plan to ignore a large voter base? We will find out and they can always be voted out!

Thank you to all who have signed for YOUR Park and swimming access, and please continue to share this and get the word out! There will no doubt be more than a few who show up in bathing suits with their kids this summer unaware of the changes -- and a whole day ruined, as only to find out it has been closed on a HOT summer day. The County needs to right a wrong.
