To be honest the new cartoon Sonic Boom isn't really that good. However Sonic X was very popular. Also Sonic X has left off with many cliffhangers. There has been a lot of fan art of a new season of Sonic X and many fans have been wanting a new season. If Sega were to make a new season of Sonic X and end Sonic Boom they would make much more money and would make a lot of fans very happy.
